No. 100 is on Holyrood Road, barely on the estate.
The immediate surroundings on Holyrood Road include Tesco Metro, cafes, bars, St. Leonards university sports centre with swimming pool and Moray House College of Education
The bus stop right outside is the no 36 bus. Read details from LothianBuses.com here. The service goes to Waverley station, along Princes Street, to Stockbridge and Leith, 3 times most hours
You only have to walk 3 or 4 minutes down the road to reach the Scottish Parliament and Holyrood Palace, where the Queen stays when she is in Edinburgh
The Queen's Park with lakes, volcanic hills / mountains, a mile of cliffs and jogging circuits is even closer by the quickest route
The Royal Mile is parallel to Holyrood Road, 2 minutes away
The nightlife and outdoor cafe centres of Edinburgh, the Cowgate and the Grassmarket are a few minutes up the road
