We insist that our flats are non-smoking flatsBoilers and gas systems are checked and certified annually, with certificates displayed inside the flats. Furniture complies with fire-prevention criteria. The electrical wiring is certified for fire-safety. Each electrical socket and electrical appliance in the flat is inspected and certified every 3 years. The whole flat is checked for flame-retardant surfaces

A Comprehensive Lock System

The Locking System:  All our doors have mortice locks provided by a private locksmith. ONLY WE can get keys cut for our doors.

Each Bedroom: Has a key-operated lock on the outside and a turn-lock on the inside of the door. Your key also opens the front door but no other room.

Front Doors:  Have a mortice lock and a yale lock in addition so that it is not easy to leave the flat unlocked accidentally.

Additional Fire Security

In case of the unlikely event of fire:

All doors are 30-minute fire doorsThe smoke alarm system is mains-operated All doors have turn-locks on the inside, so you can't be locked inside Fire extinguishers are on each landing. 35/14 has the additional security of an unobtrusive fire sprinkler system

Entrance to the Block: Is through a steel security door fitted in 2006. There is an entryphone system inside the flat. 16 other flats are inside the block.

Additional Security

Four of the flats are on a top floor landing (4th floor), meaning that there are few passers by, and any potential intruder would have to scale a high wall.
